Franklin Avenue and 8th/9th Street roundabout rebuild
The City of Bend is rebuilding the roundabout at Franklin Avenue and 8th/9th Street, starting August 15, 2016. The project will be completed by September 2, 2016, before school starts.

City Council Approves Affordable Housing Contributions
On July 20, the City Council approved a number of actions that result in increased affordable housing supply in Bend. The City of Bend is the only city in Oregon that allocates this level of local revenue to affordable housing projects.

The Bend City Council is holding a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, at Council Chambers, City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street in Bend, to hear input from interested stakeholders and individuals on the creation of a Climate Action Policy for the City of Bend.
